“A New Commandment” by Paul Ayres

A New Commandment was specially arranged for a wedding of friends, at St Peter’s Church Ealing, London (UK). It transfers the worship song, usually accompanied by piano or organ or band, into an a cappella style inspired by the music of Vaughan Williams and Duruflé (and, for the final cadence, Rachmaninov). Ideally this should be performed unaccompanied, but any keyboard instrument can be used to support the voices if needed.
